Best Selling Disc Golf Discs - October 2025

Hunter Thomas |

October saw a surge in disc golf sales thanks to exciting new releases, limited edition plastics, and popular tournament drops from USDGC and the Tour Championship. From returning favorites like the Buzzz reclaiming the top spot to new releases like the Test Flight Hallux making waves, these discs dominated the market this month. Check out the top selling disc golf discs of October 2025 and discover why players everywhere are adding them to their bags.

1. Buzzz

The Buzzz is back on top mainly thanks to the Fuzed Buzzz releases that we were able to bring back from USDGC as well as the Foundation Buzzzsaw stamped ones that we dropped as well. The Buzzz is always one of if not the most popular mid on the list but when you add in the insane amount of variety of plastic, stamps, and now the fuzed line in to the equation, it is hard to beat it out!

2. Thunderbird

The Thunderbird is the first of the personality discs that you will notice on this list. All of them saw a noticeable boost thanks to the releases at USDGC and the Tour Championship. The Thunderbird (Hunnerbird) stands atop the list mainly because it was released for the first time in Proto Color Glow in collaboration with USDGC and will be released again in that plastic on Black Friday! So if you weren't able to be at the event, don't worry... we've got you covered!

3. Cash

The Cash from Hooligan is next down on the list thanks to the popularity of the Trevor Cash release at both tournaments in October. This overstable throwing putter has become very popular and the new plastic release of the metal flake color shift really helped boost its popularity at the events. Similar to the Hunnerbird, you will get your chance at one of these on Black Friday this year as well!

4. Shaman

Last but certainly not least on the personality discs, we have the Konner Shaman. Funny enough the reason that this one sits where it does is because we actually didn't bring enough of them to USDGC so they sold out and limited its selling potential. The Kon-Man Shaman has been one of our most popular personality releases and doesn't show any signs of slowing down! It will be back online for Black Friday as well during our full personality disc restock (and jersey release)!

5. Zone SS

The Zone SS coming top 5 doesn't surprise me but I imagine it is a big reason that the Zone is so far down on this list. It will be interesting to track the Zone vs Zone SS battle to see if the Zone SS settles into a similar spot as the Zone OS where it will crack the top 25 from time to time but basically never beat out the Zone or if the Zone SS will be able to continue going toe to toe with the Zone. I expect it to settle in to a similar spot as the Zone OS as time goes on.

6. Trail

The Trail is back on this list yet again and is becoming one of the staples. It is a great flyer for a wide variety of skilled players so it makes perfect sense for it to be a great seller. I think an understable fairway driver with so much distance potential like the Trail will always be a hard slot to beat. For advanced players it is a great hyzer flip to turning driver and then for less skilled players it works as a great straight driver with controllable fade. A little something for everyone type disc.

7. Passion

You can basically copy and paste the paragraph above for the Passion here. The Discraft Passion has such an agreeable flight that works for almost every player in the game. I have seen brand new players fall in love with it and touring pros use it for mid range type control with fairway distance. One of the best fairway drivers on the market and very consistently in the top 25.

8. Test Flight Hallux

The Hallux is Ricky Wysocki's first fairway driver with Discraft. It is an interesting one on this list because the test flight was available as part of the discs we brought back from USDGC meaning the more stock release of the first run will be coming within the next month or so. The question here is how much of the sales of this disc are because of the scarcity of the test flight verse the straight up selling power this disc will have.

9. Malita

The Malita topped the chart last month and settled in to 9th this month. Given the popularity of the Buzzz/Buzzz SS and how similar this discs flight is, I would imagine it is going to settle on the border or just outside the top 25 going forward. It will be interesting to see if the people disagree with that take though!

10. Luna

Rounding out the top 10 we have the Luna which has seen a remarkable resurgence this year. This is mostly in part to a combination of AB going viral on social for throwing this disc and Paul having a much more solid year. Combine that with some cool releases and a more agreeably priced version in the putter blend, you have a disc that was slipping start to rise from the ashes back in to the top 10!

11. Cigarra

12. Destroyer

13. Aviar

14. Buzzz SS

15. Hex

16. Zone

17. Cicada

18. Time-Lapse (Retooled)

19. Range

20. Wraith

21. Balance

22. Blast

23. Thrasher

24. Fox

25. Slammer
