As disc golf continues to grow, so does the competition among discs vying for a spot in players’ bags. The second quarter of 2025 brought a mix of exciting new releases, signature molds, and fan-favorite staples that flew off our shelves. From fresh additions like the Trail and Balance to timeless classics like the Zone, Buzzz, and Destroyer, this list highlights the top-selling disc golf discs at Foundation over the past three months. Whether you're looking to try something new or see what molds are dominating the scene, this rundown offers a great snapshot of what’s hot in the disc golf world right now.
Top 50 Best Selling Discs of Q2 2025

1. Trail
The popularity of the Trail is no surprise if you have thrown it. This disc is absolutely incredible and lives up to all of the hype surrounding it with a beautiful, understable flight that carries extremely far down fairways. It is still relatively new on the market thought and will be interesting to track the popularity of it as it settles into a normal rotation instead of people excited to try it for the first time.

2. Zone
The Zone is one of the most consistent sellers on the market. It is the approach disc that everyone knows, loves, and tries to copy. The sales numbers of the Zone are definitely helped by how many different types we have in stock at any given moment though!

3. Buzzz
There used to be an argument between the Roc and the Buzzz as to what is the greatest midrange on the market. Considering the Buzzz is always in the top 5 best sellers and the Roc rarely makes the list, I think the argument is over. The Buzzz stands alone atop the midrange market.

4. Thunderbird
The Thunderbird is a staff favorite in the control driver category but it's position in the top 5 is mainly due to the popularity of the 'Hunnerbird' Halo Star Thunderbirds. The stock Thunderbird is a consistent seller and a phenomenal flyer, but this disc would be much further down the list if it wasn't for the 'Hunnerbird'.

5. Balance
The Simon Line Balance was a new release during this quarter and definitely had its sales boosted some from that. With that being said, I do expect this disc to be a staple in the top 25 for a while because of the feel and flight of it. Personally, I have fallen in love with using it for forehand shots that I need to go a little bit farther than my Zone but not quite far enough for a fairway. The beadless rim and low profile makes it a great overstable mid option!

6. Luna
Paul's 2025 Tour Series Luna has brought this disc back into the limelight. There was a time where the Luna was one of the best selling discs on our website every month, but over time it slowed up. It started picking up pace again with the availability in Discraft's putter line plastic and then really burst into the forefront with the Tour Series release this year!

7. Tilt
The Tilt made it's return to celebrate Niklas Antilla's Pro Tour win and was a huge success. It is a unique disc that is almost too overstable to really serve a purpose on the course, but that's why people love it. If it was available as a stock disc, I don't think it would be nearly as popular as it is right now because you never know when you are going to see one again so when it is in stock, people rush to buy them.

8. Nuke
I was surprised when I saw this disc made the top 10 but then I realized why. The Nuke is a disc that is too fast for most people to throw, but some popular pros absolutely love it. What this means is that there are several special edition Nukes that have come out which help boost its sales over other discs that only have stock versions. With Ezra Robinson, Brodie Smith, and Ezra Aderhold all pushing this disc, it is no surprise to see it in the top 10.

9. Zone OS
Overstable approach discs are always tough to beat. I think this is largely due to the fact that everyone can get the disc to fly on its intended flight path and therefore can find use for it in their game. The Zone OS is no exception. It is exactly what it seems like, a more overstable version of the Discraft Zone. When you take a disc with such an agreeable flight path and add in limited edition and custom stamped runs, it is almost a guarantee that you will find it in the top 10!

10. Destroyer
Just barely sneaking into the top 10, we have one of the most popular distance drivers of all time, the Innova Destroyer. I genuinely believe that if pros were all open bag, the Destroyer would be the most bagged distance driver on the market. It is a consistent, overstable, far flying 12 speed that many of the modern distance drivers are based on. Few people who have tried the Destroyer have not fallen in love with it which is probably why you see it finding itself in the top 10 here.
