The Salamander is Mint Discs slowest driver released to date. We call it a longer Lobster. It's going to be similar to the Jackalope but with more glide and a smaller rim. This makes it easy to throw on backhand and ideal for players with lower arm speeds that need to shape shots. For higher power players, this should be a reliable flip and glide disc for you.

Salamander disc

For a player who doesn’t have a lot of arm speed but wants a disc that will flex when I throw a drive, the salamander turns over a little bit for me right out of the box. I was throwing those beautiful flexing drives I have been looking for on my first throw with the salamander. I also love the feel of the plastic. I highly recommend this disc to anyone who doesn’t have big arm speed.
