August was a huge month for disc releases, and our best-selling discs reflect just how much excitement there was around new molds, special editions, and collaborative releases. From the first-ever collaboration between Innova and Discraft to the highly anticipated Discraft Terminator, several new and special-release discs made a major impact on the leaderboard. At the same time, some of the most established molds in the game continued to prove why they have remained staples for so many players. Here are the 25 best-selling discs at Foundation in August, with a few surprises along the way!

1. Buzzz/Roc Collector Set
This was a unique product to lead the month as it was the first collaborative release between two manufacturers that we have seen as a company. Innova and Discraft created this box to help fund the World Championships in Detroit and it was a huge hit. Technically there were two discs per box but I treated each box sale as one and it still ended up on top!

2. Discraft Terminator
The Terminator is the latest distance driver release from Discraft and it has quite a bit of hype behind it. This is the closest disc to a Destroyer that Discraft has ever released and it has pro players and fans very excited. I think it will quickly become a staple in their lineup!

3. Discmania P2x
The P2x had a few releases this month but the Sky Bros II stamp really pushed it up the list. We collaborated with Discmania for this release that initially happened at the Discmania Challenge in Des Moines and then hit the site during August. People always enjoy using the P2x as an overstable throwing putter.

4. Discraft Buzzz
The Buzzz got a slight boost from a special edition worlds release but overall is here due to its general popularity. It has proven to be and probably will continue to be the most popular midrange in the world. It is usable for all skill levels and is dominant in this slot.

5. Innova Destroyer
The Destroyer is the Buzzz of distance drivers when it comes to popularity. It will be interesting to see if the sales start to decline now that a more trendy brand in Discraft has a disc that so closely competes with the flight and feel with their new Terminator. Time will tell.

6. Discraft Captain's Caliber
We saw the first run release of the Captain's Caliber in the coveted Z Jawbreaker plastic which was very popular. This disc provides the flight of a Zone with the feel of a Luna which is the slot that a lot of people want from Discraft. I imagine this disc will be popular as long as it is made. The Captain's ______ series of discs are typically a little bit harder to come by over your typical stock discs which hurts their month to month performance.

7. MVP Control
The Control is a newer release from MVP and was supposed to fill the Trail OS slot in their lineup. It came out a bit more overstable than a lot of people expected, but it is a great flyer and popular still. This month was also boosted by the pre-sale of the special edition Halloween version.

8. MVP Trail
The Trail is typically on this list as long as we have them in stock. It is farther up the list than normal due to the release of the pre-order Halloween editions that are live on the site. Every year these are a big hit and early indicators say it will be true of this year as well!

9. Gateway x Foundation Cornerstone
Our signature mold continues to hold strong late into the year. It has become a staple in many player's bags which we love to see! Be on the lookout for some special versions coming very soon!

10. Discmania DD1
Rounding out the top 10 we have the DD1. This disc had a signature edition, Premier Line release, and one of our weekly deals (sign up for our SMS list to get in) hit all in the same month. Those three worked together to rocket it up the leaderboard and into the top 10!
