Every year we love digging into the numbers to see which discs dominated the marketplace and which molds gained or lost momentum. The 2025 sales data brought some surprises, some familiar faces at the top, and a handful of big shake-ups fueled by signature releases, tour series hype, and a couple of massive special projects. Below you’ll find our full ranking of the Top 50 Best-Selling Discs of 2025, along with notes on what caused each disc to rise or fall. Throughout the list, you’ll notice discs marked with positive, negative, or “NEW” indicators, all of which reference their placement compared to last year’s Top 100 sellers list. With that context in mind, let’s dive into what changed, who climbed, who slid, and which molds made their debut in a big way.
1. Buzzz SS – ↑ 64
The Buzzz SS saw a huge rise in popularity this year but it's position on top of this list is mainly due to the fact that it was our Ace-a-thon disc for 2025. This resulted in a very large custom run of them selling in the summer which landed it's place as the number one seller for 2025! Outside of the Ace-a-thon, some notable pros really fell in love with the Buzzz SS which boosted it's popularity across the board. Most notably is how much Ezra Robinson pushed it even making it his tour series disc with Discraft!
2. Buzzz – ↑ 1
The Buzzz dominated the stock selling market this year. It remains the most popular mid on the market if you take out the tour series, custom stamp, etc. sales. Even with the Buzzz SS being the Ace-a-thon disc, the Buzzz still almost beat it out falling just 29 discs short of being number one! A factor in this is the release of the very popular Fuzed line Buzzz this year that introduced the sawblade looking rim on the Buzzz. This disc is no surprise near the top.
3. Discmania MD3 – NEW
The MD3 definitely gained popularity this year but the big reason it landed this high on the list was the signature "Break 68" stamp that we did to commemorate Hunter's round at New London to cap off the 2-year long YouTube series. If you remove those sales from the MD3, it would be on the list but just barely. The MD3 gets slept on quite a bit for how incredible of a straight mid it is!
4. Discraft Luna – ↑ 16
This was a big year for the Discraft Luna. Honestly, this was the best the Luna has sold since it's release several years ago! Why? You had multiple factors playing in to this throughout the course of the year. First, you had McBeth returning to the winners circle and being on coverage more frequently. Next, you had Anthony Barela continuing to play very well while blowing people's minds with how he throws the Luna. Finally, you had the Luna battles on YouTube between Paul and AB that eventually brought the Luna Battle Packs to life from Discraft. When you put all of this together, you get a disc that had slowed down a lot brought right back to life!
5. Discraft Zone – ↓ 4
The Discraft Zone had an interesting year. Last year it was very securely our number one best selling disc and felt untouchable. While it is still inside the top 5, it was interesting to watch it slip some this year. In my opinion there were two main factors here with our site's data. First, the release of the Zone SS was very popular this year. Every month since the release of the Zone SS, I have noticed the Zone underperforming in comparison to it's normal standard. It will be interesting to see if the Zone sales rise as the Zone SS settles in to a normal stock disc. Second, with Brodie stepping back from touring and content creation, we saw less Get Freaky Zones be made and available for us to sell. This isn't a huge difference overall but definitely cost 10-20% of Zone sales for us!
6. Innova Thunderbird – ↑ 9
Welcome to personality disc alley where we will see some discs that probably are not this high on anybody else's top selling discs lists. First off we have the Innova Thunderbird which had very strong stock sales but was heavily boosted by the popularity of the Hunnerbird stamp that we run for Hunter on our site! Sales of this disc show no signs of slowing down so I expect it to have a good performance in 2026 as well.
7. Gateway Shaman – ↑ 2
The Shaman had a great year on our site thanks to the popularity of the Konner Shaman. The support of y'all for this disc has been incredible as it is in the top 10 based 100% on KonMan Shaman sales! Now that is a popular personality disc!
8. Hooligan Cash – ↑ 36
Rounding out the three personality discs in a row, we have the Trevor Cash. Trevor throwing the Cash not only brought popularity to his signature one, but also lead to us carrying all of Hooligan's discs on our site and resulted in the stock Cash being a popular selection for people as an overstable throwing putter!
9. MVP Trail – ↑ 23
The MVP Trail had an incredible year. It was probably one of the most recommended discs on the market this year. It fits so many player's games and accomplishes a wide variety of shots. I expect this disc to continue to be extremely popular for years to come! If you haven't tried a Trail yet, no matter how short or far you throw, you will be able to find a use for it in your game!
10. Discraft Zone SS – NEW
Rounding out the top 10 we have one of the biggest releases of the year, the Discraft Zone SS. As soon as we heard rumors of this release, we knew it was going to be insanely popular. For years people have loved the flight of a well beat in Zone so the idea that you can now get that flight you dream of with a disc right off the shelf was a no brainer. I expect the popularity to cool off some next year but it will probably still be a top 20 disc when we wrap up 2026!

As I look at the data for the discs that increased their popularity the most, I don't really notice many trends in regards to disc flight or characteristics, but I do see a brand trend. 2025 was a big year for Discraft and we can see it in the data here. One of the things that Discraft does very well (sometimes too well) is offer players variety and new releases. The Buzzz SS is a bit of an outlier since it was boosted by our Ace-a-thon release, but we still saw a lot of custom releases from Discraft such as the Ezra Robinson and Ezra Aderhold collab one we saw later in the year. The Scorch is a great example of a disc that had pretty slow sales but got a big boost when Discraft released the innovative Fuzed version of the Scorch! Doing things like this helps keep fans engaged and boosts sales of slower molds as players are curious to see what something so revolutionary does to the feel and flight of the disc!

The trend on negative movers is pretty easy to see. Now I do want to point out that a lot of these discs from MVP were new releases in 2024 or at least had a lot of hype around them last year which will lead to them dropping slots as other new releases take their spot but don't necessarily point to a downward trend in brand popularity. I do think that overall MVP had a little less hype around them in 2025 as they did in 2024, but they still were our second biggest manufacturer on the site and almost seem to be more a victim of Discraft's dominance and new hype releases than people deciding not to throw them because they don't like them or anything like that. With how much Discraft did this year, it wouldn't surprise me if they dominate the negative movers list next year for similar reasons.
