1. Buzzz SS
The Buzzz SS should come as no surprise given that July was the Ace-a-thon release month. With a sellout of 10 minutes and then the pre-order of every Buzzz SS we could get our hands on selling out a few hours later, don't be surprised if the Buzzz SS ends up being one of the best selling discs of the year for us just because of the month of July.
2. Cigarra
The Cigarra's popularity continues with almost every restock we get selling out. The release that really bumped the numbers this month was the Austin Turner and AB collaboration on the Z-Swirl Cigarra. Those were a hot commodity and when combined with another restock, it made it popular enough to top the charts basically any other month without the Ace-a-thon.
3. Raptor
The Raptor is always a decent seller for us but it's entrance into the top 5 this month is thanks to the release of the Janice Raptor in collaboration with Kelsey Smith and her ace series on Brodie's channel. The Janice Raptor sold out on release weekend and helped boost the overall Raptor sales numbers!
4. Time-Lapse
Simon recently worked with MVP to retool his already popular driver mold, the Time-Lapse. The pre-order for this anticipated release dropped during July with both a special edition and stock stamp. Expect to see this disc on the list next month as well with the official release date being set for August 15th!
5. Zone
Surprise surprise! The Zone is in the top 5 yet again. The Zone continues to be the world's go to choice for overstable approach shots and it doesn't show any signs of slowing down soon. It will be interesting to see once the Zone SS releases if it takes any of the selling power from the Zone. My guess is that it will not.
6. Buzzz
In another shocking result, we have the Buzzz just outside the top 5. Just kidding. The Buzzz is another one of those discs that just never stops selling and for good reason. People love the Buzzz for long, straight, reliable flights and it never disappoints!
7. Avenger SS
This one actually took me by surprise. The Avenger SS sales were made up of Brodie custom ones and stock ones but nothing new released to push these sales. Typically the Avenger SS is one of those discs that is always underrated and not as high as expected, but not this month!
8. Cicada
The Cicada has been gaining steam recently. It was overshadowed by the Cigarra for a little bit there, but it is coming into its own now. People are starting to fall in love with it for easy distance and hyzer flip shots. It flies for your typical player how the Cigarra flies for the pros which makes it an easy disc to fall in love with!
9. Turbulence
The hype around this release was real. We saw the actual release of the Turbulence this month instead of just the pre-order and now I will be interested to see how long that hype stays once people have thrown it. The bold claim of glide reduction will create a first sale easily but only time will tell if this is a fad or becomes a staple in people's bags!
10. Destroyer
Rounding out the top 10 we have arguably the greatest distance driver of all time. I think the only thing that holds this disc back from being as popular as the Buzzz or the Zone is the fact that it takes a decent bit of arm speed to get it to fly the way you want it to. Being an overstable 12 speed means that most people really don't have a need for it or the arm speed to throw it which hinders it's selling ability.
