Top Selling Disc Golf Discs - April 2026

Hunter Thomas |

Between highly anticipated releases, fresh color drops, and a few proven molds reminding everyone why they’ve stuck around so long, this month’s top sellers tell a pretty clear story: players are chasing both reliability and just a little extra edge. Whether it was the hype around new molds like the Ares, the explosive demand for limited runs like the Cryztal FLX Zone SS, or steady staples continuing to dominate week after week, April had a bit of everything.

What stands out most is how much influence both innovation and timing had. A single release weekend could push a disc to the top, while consistent stock demand quietly kept others climbing the ranks. From overstable workhorses to glidey distance drivers, the variety in this month’s list shows players gearing up for the tournament season ahead.

Let’s break down the top-selling discs of April and what made each one stand out.

1. Discraft Zone SS

The Zone SS reigned supreme in April due to the success of the first color release of the Get Risky Cryztal FLX Zone SS. This was the first of 5 colors total and sold out within the weekend of the release. Add in the decent stock sales of the Zone SS in general and you get the best selling disc of the month!

2. Discraft Ares

The Ares, also known as the Zeus 2.0, debuted in April and quickly became a staple in player's bags. This disc offers a little bit more stable flight than the Zeus which makes it a great option for a lot of players. If you wish you had more stability on your Zeus, the Ares is a great option!

3. Gateway Cornerstone

The Cornerstone continues to have good popularity as the year goes on. This is our first ever collaboration mold with a manufacturer and fills a flip up fairway driver slot in the bag. If you are looking for a beat in flight of an Anax or Thunderbird, this is the disc you are looking for!

4. MVP Trail

The Trail continues to be a wildly popular driver. It got a nice boost as the white rims revamped the hype within MVP throwers. A little bit faster and less stable than the Cornerstone, this is the farthest flying disc in a TON of players bags right now.

5. MVP Stasis

The pre-order for the Stasis dropped during the month of April and people got really excited for them. The Stasis takes the same glide reduction top that we have seen on the Range and brings it into a gyro rim, overstable disc. This makes it much closer to an overstable Berg or even a Berg X from Kastaplast except with the gyro rim.

6. Discraft Zone

The Zone continues to be a dominant force in the approach disc category. It once again is here mainly because of the stock zone just being so popular. The tour series release of the Zone was even lighter than years past which means this is really leaning heavily on the popularity of the stock Zone.

7. Discraft Passion

The Discraft Passion is one of those discs that you just need to throw to understand why people love it so much. It offers the flight that is typically only found in neutral mid ranges with the distance and feel of a fairway driver. Between a restock and the Paige Pierce Tour Series ones, the Passion really had a good month.

8. Discmania FD

The release of the Premier FD shot this mold up the best seller list. The Premier plastic offers a greater weight distribution to the rim of the disc promoting a longer flight with sustained RPMs and it is noticeable. The other big draw of this run was the stability. These FDs came in much more overstable than your typical ones making them very desirable for bigger arms!

9. Innova Firebird

The Nate Sexton Firebird continues to be a very popular release and played a big role in the trend of the Firebird's sales this month. Typically this really overstable slot is one that is not bought often as once you find a good one, you don't need another. The only exception is when something really cool releases that makes people want to bump the old one out of their bag.

10. Discraft Luna

Rounding out the top 10 we have the Discraft Luna. The tour series Luna brought some popularity to this mold this month in addition to us getting them back on our shelves after completely selling out earlier in the year. The high glide nature of this disc makes it very desirable off the tee and for long putts!

11. Discraft Cigarra

12. Axiom Hex

13. Gateway Shaman

14. Discraft Archer

15. Elevation Koi

16. Discmania DD1

17. Discraft Zeus

18. MVP Wave

19. Innova Wraith

20. MVP Rhythm

21. Axiom Envy

22. Discraft Buzzz

23. Prodigy PA-3

24. Latitude 64 Fire

25. MVP Glitch
