The Latitude 64 Diamond should be the go-to driver for beginners. This disc is designed for new players to be able to get some extra distance and a full flight out of a driver. This combined with the lightweight of the disc makes it a perfect fit for players looking to take that next step in their game.

Get out of jail disc

This disc is very flippy but is great for getting good distance and still some turn when you don't have enough room to do a full swing when you are scrabbling. you can also get some long sweeping turns even after starting it on some hyzer. Great for beginners to see a strait flight when they are starting out.

Great flying disc

I am fairly new to Disc Golf, and older so I don't have a great arm speed. This disc flies amazing for me. It didn't take long to learn how to throw the diamond and begin shaping shots and getting a few very close to the pin on par 3s. I purchased this Diamond in different plastic to see what I thought, and again very pleased with the flight.

If you are just getting into disc golf

I have it in my bag just to hopefully give it to someone who can use it and is just getting into disc golf. Perfect for new player. Intermediate players it will roll over.

As expected, really flippin’ flippy.

Real flippin’ flippy. The opto plastic is beautiful.

Latitude 64

Latitude 64 is the powerhouse manufacturer behind many of the brands you love! First known to be the manufacturer of the 'Trilogy' (Latitude, Dynamic and Westside) they have now also expanded into being the manufacturer behind additional brands that fall under the "House of Discs" umbrella such as Kastaplast and have aided companies like Discmania with setting up their manufacturing. In other words, you have probably thrown Latitude 64 plastic at some point whether you knew it or not.

Plastic Details

Retro

This is their cheapest baseline plastic. It has a grippy hand feel and is very affordable making it a great choice for people looking to test out new discs without breaking the bank. Be aware that discs in this plastic will beat up easily. This is the same plastic as Origio and Prime from Westside and Dynamic.

Zero

This plastic offers a similar hand feel to prime but with a little bit more durability and grip. This is the typical choice of plastic for putting putters and throwing putters that you want to beat in. Zero is the same plastic as BT and Classic from Westside and Dynamic.

Opto

This is Latitude's classic premium plastic. It offers a great mix of grip and durability. Expect discs to fly a little bit more overstable in this plastic especially when it is in the stiffer "X" variety. This is the same plastic as VIP and Lucid from Westside and Dynamic.

Gold

This is the grippiest premium plastic that Latitude offers. It has a softer hand feel and a slightly less stable flight than Opto. Most players prefer this plastic for their drivers. Gold is the same plastic as Tournament and Fuzion from Westside and Dynamic.
